The original plan was to take one of our boats down to Kealakekua Bay to do a survey of the shoreline for new buoy placements. The last big earthquake we had caused a large section of the steep cliff side to fall into the ocean, the goal was to place new buoys to warn snorkelers and kayakers to stay clear of the shore line and to watch for falling rocks. Well we added a few more people and turned the end of the survey into a snorkeling trip. Here are some of the photos I took along and during the survey day.
