Kealakekua Bay Survey

Aloha,

The original plan was to take one of our boats down to Kealakekua Bay to do a survey of the shoreline for new buoy placements. The last big earthquake we had caused a large section of the steep cliff side to fall into the ocean, the goal was to place new buoys to warn snorkelers and kayakers to stay clear of the shore line and to watch for falling rocks. Well we added a few more people and turned the end of the survey into a snorkeling trip. Here are some of the photos I took along and during the survey day.

Enjoy...

Last Chance Prom Dance

2 Weeks ago I got a phone call at my mortgage paying job. I had an offer to photograph a Prom like dance at one of the local high schools.  It sounded like fun so I accepted.  It turned out to be a ton of fun. I must have photographed over 100 people in 3 hours. It was a fund rasier for the football team to go to Oahu for a big game.

Here are a few of the more notable shots.

Don't play with Fire

I asked Tiana Leigh LaRosa and Kainoa Leong-Aguon if I could photograph Tiana's Tahitian dancer and Kainoa's fire dancer routines. They agreed and here are the results.
